Summary

Step Logger has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your Health data never leaves your devices.

Apple Health

With your permission, the app reads steps, distance, active energy, stand hours and heart rate from Apple Health, read-only. It uses them only to show your progress, trends, streak, widgets and Watch complications. They aren't sent to us or anyone else, and are never used for advertising or sold.

iCloud

Your settings (such as your step target and units) and best streak sync between your devices through iCloud key-value storage under your Apple ID, handled under Apple's privacy policy. Your Health data is not part of this.

Notifications and widgets

Reminders and goal alerts are scheduled locally on your device. Widgets and Watch complications show figures from your data, shared only between the app, its widgets and your paired Watch.

Deleting your data

Delete the app to remove its data from your device. You can withdraw Health access at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Children

Step Logger isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
